Erika Savlowitz

Erika has almost 20 years of corporate experience acting in various roles. Through her positions as a lawyer, investment banker, and now company executive, her roles have always entailed solving complex problems for different businesses and industries across various jurisdictions. This broad cross-industry and cross-cultural experience enables her to bring a creative perspective to delivering business intelligence solutions that make sense for organizations of all shapes and sizes in diverse industries around the world.
Prior to joining Competitive Analytics, Erika worked for the London office of Dresdner Kleinwort, an international investment bank, originating, structuring, and executing complex financial transactions for financial institutions and large companies in Europe and the Emerging Markets. She began her career as a lawyer working at the “magic circle” firm, Allen & Overy, in London and the leading Vancouver firm, Farris, in Canada.
Erika was born, bred, and educated in Canada. She received her Bachelor of Laws (J.D. equivalent) from University of Victoria, a top Canadian law school, and her Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science, from Simon Fraser University.
In her spare time, Erika enjoys reading about mythology and psychology and has completed her first year of a PhD program in Mythology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology. Erika also takes great pleasure in spending time with her husband, David, and their two children.
