CA’s 2008 Presidential election forecast model was 99.73% accurate, another resounding success for CA’s forecast models! The final electoral vote count resulted in 365 electoral votes for Senator Barack Obama and 173 electoral votes for Senator John McCain. The variance of CA’s final electoral vote forecast and the reported results for Barack Obama was one electoral vote. CA compiled three Presidential Election charts that provided different and unique breakdowns of electoral college voting statistics from aggregate to drilled down analyses. CA’s 2008 Presidential Election charts identifed key social, political, and economic events that occurred during the course of the election campaign and contingently revealed the impact these events had on the campaign.
